KUIPIIO'S STORY

Sarcoidosis is referred to as the Snowflake Disease because no two people are affected the same. Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease that caused granulomas to form on any and every organ. As a result of the disease organs can stop functioning properly. While there is currently no cure for Sarcoidosis we remain optimistic. We strive to live each day not defined by this disease but by our value as human beings. When a Snowflake falls we grieve the loss but we also celebrate their lives. Caring Hands Sarcoidosis Foundation is celebrating and honors our Fallen Snowflake Kuipiio Livingston by establishing “The Kuipiio Livingston Sarcoidosis Retreat & Workshop Scholarship”.

WHO WE ARE

Caring Hands Sarcoidosis Foundation serves as the voice for Sarcoidosis patients. Our Mission is to provide patient advocacy, educational materials and self-empowerment for people living with Sarcoidosis. We want to show people living with Sarcoidosis that they are not alone, and encourage them to reach out for anything that they might need! :)
